Welcome to Blue Haven, a luxurious new beach house with all the comforts of home. As soon as you walk through the door you will feel a sense of tranquility and comfort. Blue Haven was meticulously designed to provide an exceptional experience for everyone who enters the home. The furnishings were carefully selected to provide our guests with everything they need to have a relaxing home away from home. Gather your loved ones and come visit Blue Haven located on the west side of Galveston Island.
The space
The wonderful kitchen with sparkling white quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances is fully equipped with all the tools and gadgets for cooking your beach favorites. There is a large island with four bar stools which not only creates an abundance of space to whip up a meal, but it also offers additional seating for the entire group to savor every bite of the tasty meal together or serve a buffet. Our kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to include a coffee bar for your morning cafesito (brewed either with a Keurig or Cuisinart coffee maker - we have both) which you can sip while watching the gorgeous sunrise on the deck before you head out to wiggle your toes in the sand.
For your viewing pleasure and to experience that movie theatre feel there is the 4K 65” TV in the living room. The beautiful blue sofa makes for the perfect spot for entertaining the kids or cozying up with that someone special for a relaxing evening. In the mood for a nice romantic evening-- you can dance to your favorite music with the awesome bluetooth sound bar. Or if you prefer, you can settle in for a night of board games in the comfortable living room.
Our spacious home will certainly fulfill your checklist with all the offerings available. Our home has 4 bedrooms and two baths. Each bedroom is bright, airy, and cozy. Our home can sleep a total of 12 people. All the beds have brand new memory foam mattresses, wonderful linens and comfy pillows. Each bedroom has USB charging stations on the nightstand and blackout curtains and cord-free blinds on the windows. Upstairs in the Peaceful Paradise there is a king bed in this master suite and in the Cozy Cove at the other end of the hall there is a queen bed. Downstairs the Restful Retreat has a queen bed, and the Happy Hideaway has 2 queen bunk beds and a queen trundle bed underneath. (These are adult bunkbeds comfortable for adults or children—very strong and safe).
Amenities:
Blue Haven features a Sensi smart thermostat that can be used for you and your guests to set the right temperature for your stay and we will make sure it is set to a comfortable temperature before you arrive.
Hair dryers, magnified make up mirrors, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner is available in each of the bathrooms with plenty of plush new towels.
In our “fun closet” we have an assortment of games for your family to enjoy. We also provide a safe for you to secure your valuables. We provide 12 oversized beach towels with the Blue Haven logo.
Secure super-fast guest WIFI is available throughout the home. Blue Haven is equipped with 5 smart TVs that have a Netflix subscription.
Feel free to pack light because there is a brand new Maytag high-capacity Washer and Dryer available with laundry detergent provided. If your clothes are a little wrinkled – no worries – we have an iron, ironing board, and steamer available in the laundry room.
If you are traveling with little ones we also have a high chair, stroller, Baby Bumbo seat, pack-n-play with sheets, and a Joovy Spoon Walker. Blue Haven is also set up with sippee cups, primary plates, and flatware for toddlers. We also have a rocking chair in the master bedroom closet.
You will love stepping out on the deck to feel the Island Breeze and enjoy a delightful cocktail. The deck is furnished with a table and chair set as well as Adirondack chairs for a time of relaxation, take time for tanning or to enjoy your delicious grilled meal outdoors.
You will also find an entertaining area on the ground floor of the house complete with an outdoor dining table with six chairs, four more Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill for you to cook your freshly caught fish, play a game of cornhole and just enjoy the outdoors. On the ground floor you will also find an outdoor shower and beach box filled with beach umbrellas, chairs, wagon, boogie board, and custom Blue Haven corn hole set.
We encourage you to bring your boat for fishing. There are public areas to launch your boat if you want to fish or explore the water around Galveston island. We also recommend you rent a golf cart so you can get around like the locals do! There are local Golf Cart rental companies that will drop off a golf cart when you need it and pick it up when you’re done.
The house is also a prime spot for leaving or returning from a cruise, as there is a cruise ship terminal in downtown Galveston.

Guests have access to the entire house and are welcome to use everything during their entire stay. The garage is the only space that is unavailable to guests.
Other things to note
For the safety of our guests and security of our property, we have a doorbell camera and exterior security cameras in several locations on the ground level, but there are no cameras located on the inside of the property.
House Rules:
• Candles are not allowed to be used at the property.
• Blue Haven is a smoke free home. If you smoke in the home an additional cleaning fee of $500 will be applied to the primary guest.
• Pets are not allowed (except for service animals) and if a pet is found on the property, the primary guest will be required to pay $100 per pet per day. Service animal documentation must be submitted through the booking platform in advance and acknowledged by the host.
• The property is intended for the quiet enjoyment of our guests. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to rent Blue Haven. Adults cannot rent the property on behalf of underage guests. We do not allow parties.
• We require a copy of the primary renter’s drivers license and a complete list of the guests first and last names.
• All grilling must be done downstairs on the patio area where the grill is located. Grilling on the deck is prohibited and against the Galveston County ordinance.
• Please leave your sandy shoes on the deck by the front door and use our outdoor shower (located on the back side of the garage) to rinse off sand before entering the home.
• Please do not flush feminine products or non-flushable wipes down the toilet.
• Please avoid coloring your hair during your stay.
• Please do not pour grease down the drains.
• Please park on the concrete drive or patio area under the house. Be very careful that you do not hit the concrete pilings with your vehicle. There are electrical outlets and switches on the columns that could be damaged.
• If something is accidentally broken, please notify the host. (We understand that accidents occur, and things can be broken. If this happens, please contact us so we can replace or repair damaged items. However, if damage occurs due to malicious or careless behavior, responsibility for replacement or repairs may be at the renter’s expense).
• If guests are asked to leave due to a party, irresponsible or bad behavior, no refund will be given for lost days.
• Please keep in mind that this is our home, and we ask that you respect it as we would respect yours.
• If renter must cancel due to tropical storm/hurricane evacuation requirements, full refund will be given. If renter must evacuate during their stay due to tropical storm/hurricane, they will be credited for lost days.
• The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises, nor is the host responsible for loss or damage of personal property of renters.
• By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
• Blue Haven is designed to accommodate a maximum number of 12 guests. If you bring more guests to the home than allowed, you will be charged $50 per adult guest per night.
