It is often described as the chicest district of Lyon with wide avenues (Boulevard des Belges, Rue Duquesne, Avenue Foch ...) lined with beautiful buildings and mansions with a view of the Parc de la Tête d'Or. It is also a shopping district, mainly around Cours Vitton.
