Positive: The pool area was fantastic!! Very secluded and quiet....exactly what we wanted. The house was very well equipped. The washing machine was useful.
Negative: There was no reception on the TV whatsoever. It does state on the property description that there is a fully functioning TV. This wouldn't have been an issue if the weather was good, but on the odd day that it rained, my 12 year old would have made use of the TV. There was no welcome pack in any language of any description. We had no idea how to dispose of household waste and recycling. We didn't know where the nearest supermarket, pharmacy, medical centre etc were. There was no information about local attractions. All of this would have made things a little easier given how remote the property is. The directions given to locate the property in Pech Gaillard aren't sufficient. It took us several attempts to find it. The only sign post on the side of the road that would suggest that there is a holiday home down a gravel track is GITE RURAL. Very confusing.
