A stunning rural property, perfect for large group bookings
Two superb properties offering a gorgeous rural retreat set on private land, not far from the picturesque village of Desertines in the Mayenne department of France (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and complete with onsite leisure complex with indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym and games room.
The first property, Le Moulin, is a luxury renovated and modernised rural dwelling, formerly an old flour mill, boasting four storeys and accommodating up to 24 people. Next to it, La Petite Maison, a two storey farmhouse that can accomodate up to 12 people.
Secure entry gates lead to an expansive courtyard with parking for up to around 20 vehicles.
Le Moulin is directly in front of you with La Petite Maison to the right. Both properties are fronted by a stone patio area. The communal Leisure Complex is to the left.
We provide patio furniture for use by guests; each property is furnished with enough table and chairs for their use, along with a portable grill/barbecue. The onsite Leisure Complex has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, changing rooms, lockers, showers, separate male/female WCs and a handbasin, gymnasium with smith rack and weights, treadmill, stationery bike, power plate, rowing machine and leads upstairs to a games room with table tennis table, full-size snooker table, pool table and flatscreen TV with games consoles for Xbox and Wii. A selection of games for the consoles can be provided on request.
Leading down a gravel path is a large garden. La Petite Maison also has its own pretty rose garden complete with patio and brick built bbq.
For our guests' convenience, we provide a welcome basket on arrival with a few provisions and information about the property and local attractions/activities nearby. We provide free car parking and free Wifi for our guests' use throughout the property
We provide a cot and highchair for our younger guests and cot bedding can be provided on request
A selection of dvds can be provided on request. Also, xbox and Wii games. There is no smoking allowed in the property and pets are not allowed for the comfort of all our guests.

This booking option is for the smaller unit of the two. The ground floor has a lovely wide entrance hall to the right of which is the large fully fitted kitchen - double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, etc). There is a breakfast bar with stools. The entrance hall, to the left, leads to the ground floor WC and handbasin and then into the cosy salon; large sofa, double sofabed, TV/dvd player, wood burner and fireplace; dining area - dining table and chairs and a highchair for a younger guest. Leading from the salon, is bedroom 1 'Cezanne' - double bed furnished with cheval mirror, bedside table and wardrobe, blanket box, towel holder, flatscreen TV with freeview and satellite channels and dvd player. The ensuite has a WC, handbasin and shower cubicle. The first floor houses two bedrooms; bedroom 2 'Degas' has a double bed, cheval mirror, bedside tables, wardrobe, TV/dvd player. The ensuite has a WC, handbasin, soaker tub and separate shower cubicle. Bedroom 3 'Monet', on the right, has a double bed, cheval mirror, bedside tables, wardrobe with shelving, TV/dvd player. There is also a cot for a younger guest. The ensuite has a double handbasin, soaker tub and separate shower cubicle. Next to the bathroom is a separate WC. There is a landing just before the second floor which houses the shared WC for the top floor bedrooms. The top floor houses two bedrooms; bedroom 4 on the left 'Morisot' has a double bed with storage shelves and drawers, wardrobe, TV/dvd player. The ensuite has a handbasin and separate shower cubicle. The bedroom on the right, 'Renoir' has a double bed, full-length mirror, bedside tables, wardrobe, TV/dvd player. The ensuite has a handbasin and separate shower cubicle. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities, TV with freeview/satellite and English/French channels. Each bathroom/ensuite is provided with complimentary shower gel and handwash. Heating is provided by oil fired radiators throughout the house. The basement houses a washing machine, tumble drier and clothes airers (and laundry baskets) for use by our guests :0)
