Positive: The place was absolutely perfect for us. We had eight people plus our three little fur babies, and never once did we feel cramped or short on space. There was plenty of room out the back and on the decks to sit outside, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the beautiful views. A fun bonus was the totem tennis pole — we all loved it and had a laugh reminiscing about playing it when we were younger. The views from every window were exceptional, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The host’s communication was outstanding. His messages were clear, detailed, and covered everything we could possibly need to know, which meant we didn’t have to reach out for simple questions. It was so handy being able to go back and re-read instructions at any time. The house itself had thoughtful extras, like an additional vanity with a sink and mirror, and it felt very warm, safe, and quiet. The end-of-stay requirements were straightforward — just normal cleaning and tidying, not the heavy chores like mopping or changing sheets you sometimes get elsewhere. Internet access was excellent. The main living area TV isn’t a smart TV, but we brought a Chromecast and it worked perfectly. The master bedroom TV was a smart TV, and while there was another TV in one of the bedrooms, we didn’t end up using it. Overall, it was a spacious, comfortable, and welcoming home that suited us perfectly.
Negative: Honestly, almost nothing. If I had to be picky, one of the beds had a double doona on a queen, which left one of the couples a bit cold. We also ran out of dishwashing liquid and tablets and had to buy our own. Very minor things in the scheme of it all! Oh, and the jigsaw puzzle in the games area was missing a few pieces — so we had a bit of a “rage quit” moment with that one. 😅
Summary: Perfect stay, plenty of space, great views, and amazing host communication.
