A former cargo port nicknamed "the quay of Paris's cobblestones" (a quarter of the capital's cobblestones were loaded here), today a "nautical stopover," Génelard boasts exceptional river heritage, home to one of the three canal trenches built in the late 18th century (with an educational trail).
