Le Moulin sur la Seine is a beautifully converted watermill of 230 square meters, set
in a peaceful village in Côte d’Or, Burgundy. It sits at the end of a quiet lane on the banks of the River Seine. You can park your car safely off the road, lock the gates behind you and let the children (and dogs) roam freely! The peaceful gardens sit alongside the river and access to these is through a gate, so there’s no need to worry about small children playing too close to the river. There is plenty of space for you to eat outside on the terrace, barbecue or play games. Moving inside there is a large well-equipped kitchen with all the mod cons (dishwasher, microwave etc) and a large dining table big enough for you to enjoy your meals in the rustic setting. The comfortable sitting room has plenty of sofas, an open fire and TV, and there is a more formal dining area, so you really can make the most of all the space and relax. The gorgeous oak staircase leads upstairs to the landing and 4 bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. Three of the bedrooms enjoy views over the front of the house, courtyard and river. This is a perfect base from which to explore Burgundy or other nearby areas as transport links are so good. In addition, free WiFi internet and excellent mobile phone reception enable you to stay in touch with the outside world.
