Summary: This is a REALLY fun home with a lot of personality and was perfect for our 4-person family (kids 12 and 10). The backyard is great; home is beautiful and very comfortable; beds super comfortable with high-quality linens. Kitchen and linens/towels well stocked. We hosted some local friends and family for bbqs and it was awesome for entertaining. Great stereo - Bluetooth, on wheels, powerful - and we loved being able to have music outside. Only “complaint” was there were two afternoons in our 6 days where maintenance and the pool cleaner came over unexpectedly. (To be fair, there was a crazy windstorm and they had some things that needed fixing bc of it.) Not the end of the world, but the kids were particularly bummed to be forced out of the pool on our last afternoon in FL. Would have been nice to have gotten a heads up or ability to schedule - there were tons of times we weren’t in the house, and we’d have planned beach and other excursions when maintenance was there if we’d been given the chance to coordinate. But now you know, so if that will bother you, just ask in advance. Ursula (property manager) was really friendly and accommodating. Also, note the house has a separate studio (part of the house, can be closed off or opened up as an extra bed/bath, separate entrance). We rented both the house and the studio bc we didn’t want to share the backyard or hear anyone else, even though we didn’t need or really use the extra space. Easy drive to beach. Some road noise when you’re in the backyard (although my husband thinks not enough to bother commenting on - I’m admittedly hypersensitive to such things). Very private, assuming no one is in the studio. Nicer than pics and we thought pics were great! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks Steve and Ursula!
