Modern Riverfront Retreat with Views | Riverlight Lodge | House in Steamboat Springs

5 Bedroom House in Old Town, Steamboat Springs
Welcome to Riverlight Lodge, a sleek and sophisticated retreat where town meets mountain. This newly built luxury residence sits on the banks of the Yampa River in downtown Steamboat. Experience outside living spaces that are just as spectacular as the inside. Expansive decks on each of the home’s three levels offer front-row views of the river, the iconic Howelsen Hill, and the Steamboat ski area. Stroll or bike the nearby Core Trail, explore boutique shops and restaurants, or hop on the Moving Mountains complimentary shuttle for easy access to the ski slopes during winter months.
The open concept main level has the kitchen and dining area on one side and the living area on the other. All opening out to the deck with a fire pit, heaters, plenty of seating, and an outdoor dining table.
The main living room invites guests to sink into the large sofa and cozy up in front of the fireplace. In warmer months, fling open the wall-to-wall sliding glass doors to welcome in the sights and sounds of the river below.
In the gourmet kitchen, between the professional-grade appliances, large walk-in pantry, kitchen island, two dishwashers, wine refrigerator, and an outdoor grill just steps away, cooking and entertaining for a house full of 12 guests is both a breeze and a delight.
Four of Riverlight Lodge’s five luxurious bedrooms are on the second level. The bunk room with two twin over twin bunks shares a Jack & Jill bathroom with the neighboring king bedroom. The bath has a dual vanity and shower/tub combo. Across the hall are two more bedrooms that both have views of Howelson Hill and look out onto the deck. The first is a king bedroom with an ensuite bath with a single vanity and walk-in steam shower. The bedroom next door has two twin beds and ensuite bath with single vanity and walk-in shower.
There’s a media room on this level with access to the deck where you can soak in the private hot tub, or soak in the views from seating around a fire pit. Outdoor heaters provide additional warmth.
The upper level is the ultimate sanctuary. The primary king suite encompasses this entire floor and features a double-sided fireplace that separates the sleeping area from a sitting room with a desk and a wet bar. Enjoy your morning coffee in peace without having to venture down to the kitchen. Or take a glass of wine out to the deck and watch the stars come out in the evening. The spacious ensuite bathroom features a large soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, dual sink vanity, and a closet with built-in shelving and washer/dryer. The entire suite faces its private outdoor deck with seating around a fire pit, outdoor heaters and spectacular views.
For guests’ convenience, the home’s amenities include an elevator, 2-car garage with space for 2 more vehicles in the driveway, in-home sound system, and air conditioning.
