Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Wonderful hospitality and such amazing food cooked by the host. The plating for dinner was so beautiful, and the rice with perilla sprinkled on top was so delicious (I was told the rice was grown by the host's husband!) The grassy scent of the tatami room smelled really nice and had all the stuff you need in a typical stay (hairdryers and such). It's not near the main area of Magome in the Nakasendo Trail (about 10-15 minutes walk away), but thanks to that, it felt very peaceful.
