Summary: Nice home. Plenty of space. Beautiful garden. Great location, though not much nearby to walk to other than a strawberry picking farm (we went twice by car and really loved it) and a beach about thirty minutes by foot or five minutes by car — if you are not a walker, this will not matter. However, it was the perfect location for exploring the region. And the nearby beach was lovely - we went twice during our stay. Do expect to pay extra for linens and there were no extra rolls of toilet paper and only a few toiletries supplied. However, Kaufland is only a 9 minute drive away and we were able to easily buy the missing supplies. We were unfortunately told that both the washing machine and dishwasher were not working upon check in. This was of course disappointing. That first evening (Fri) we tested both machines and found the washing machine WAS working, which was a huge relief. However, the dishwasher was not. On Saturday a repair person came and on Monday a new one was installed. I was very happy because communication with the property manager was very good And he was always responsive. With German punctuality they came to install the new machine earlier than scheduled and we were in the middle of preparing our breakfast, which was awkward. However, we feel satisfied with the arrangement as we received a partial refund for our Inconvenience and as stated before, the matter was dealt with quickly. With a new dishwasher, future vacationers should not have the same disappointment. Glad we stayed here and we would recommend this vacation home.
