Enjoy an unforgettable vacation getaway in this spacious, peaceful beach house in the quiet, wooded Michiana neighborhood, one block from Lake Michigan.
This home is ideal for 3 families; sleeps 6 adults with children. Or a couples; girls weekend (8 adults max) with something to offer for everyone. It is near and dear to the homeowners with the intention of opening its doors to other families to make lasting memories.
With 6 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, a large great room with fireplace and cathedral ceiling, main floor living room with fireplace, and a kid-friendly lower level rec room there is plenty of room for everyone to be together or enjoy their own space and relax. The fully equipped kitchen opens to a large dining area with seating for 8 at the table. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large screened in porch (porch season is June - October) with loads of seating and a dining table. Step outside to the outdoor patio equipped with a gas grill and Blackstone griddle for your summer BBQ's.
There is no shortage of things to do. Walk to Michigan's finest beaches to spend the day and go back for the beautiful sunsets, enjoy the huge yard (very rare to find) including a fenced in custom fire pit for s'mores, a sand volleyball court, green space for play and a trampoline! Guests can also enjoy - ping pong in the kids rec room, lily pad for beach fun, plenty of beach chairs, bags game, basketball hoop, board games on a rainy day and a golf cart included in your booking!Walk or take the golf cart to the newly renovated village playground equipped with new paddle courts. The hot tub is located indoors, just off the family room so you can enjoy a comfortable soak in any weather all year long!
High-speed internet, cable TV and Sonos audio provide added entertainment. (Download the Sonos app to use this feature.). Located just a few minutes from downtown New Buffalo and Michigan City you are close to all the restaurants and shopping!
