Located on the tips of Hammersley Inlet and Oakland Bay, Captain's Retreat is the perfect vacation spot, whether you prefer to relax or head out for adventures. Enjoy magnificent water views from the living room, the enclosed patio or the private beach cabana.
In the living room, you'll find comfortable couches and chairs, great for curling up with that book you've been looking forward to, as well as a wood fireplace to warm you and your companions up when the evenings are cool. If you're inclined, play a favorite movie on the flat screen television to round out your day.
Not only is there an enclosed patio with its own propane fire pit and water views, you'll also delight in the cabana nestled nearly on top of the water, with a propane barbeque and all ready for al fresco dining. And, down the stairs, closer the water, is another fire pit where you can end your evenings under the stars.

Chefs in your group will welcome the full suite of kitchen appliances, enabling them to whip up meals quickly and efficiently. Its breakfast bar is great for morning coffee or cereal for the kiddos. Of course, there are plenty of pots, pans and dinnerware to meet all your culinary needs.
Three bedrooms offer plush accommodations for up to seven people, and include three queen beds, a twin over full bunk bed and a twin trundle bed under the bunk. Plush linens and towels are provided for your stay.
For fun family activity, guests can take advantage of the community pool, just $3 per person per day, just perfect for an active family.
If you're planning on putting your boat in the water, you'll find a small boat launch less than a mile down the road at Jacoby's Shorecrest County Park.

Belfair State Park, about 30 minutes by car, offers an opportunity to explore the shores of Hood Canal, by foot or paddle board, fly a kite, just enjoy a picnic by the water. Also about 30 minutes away, you'll find the nearby town of Union has much to offer. It's the first non-native artist colony in the state of Washington and continues to attract artists of all kinds. There are a variety of restaurants and activities in the area, including the Alderbrook Golf Course.
