This service station, originally “Aguilar’s Pik Pak No.2” is rich in Marfa’s history. Part of the property is made of original Adobe and was a place to stop for vehicle service, ice and snacks on your way to Big Bend.
Now 4 fully renovated units filled with quirky details and fun original art, you’ll experience nostalgia and the Marfa spirit.
The Space:
The Petite Pik-Pak is a studio with Queen bed, two vintage side tables, full kitchenette, dining for two, sofa and full bathroom.
LIVING:
Enter into living room with vintage leather sofa for lounging. Enjoy entertaining friends in the outdoor shared patio.
DINING/KITCHENETTE:
Stocked kitchenette with 2-burner range top, small 3.1 cubic fridge, dining for two, toaster oven and ample counter space. Cooking utensils and all essential kitchen amenities provided. Just bring your groceries and spirits.
STUDIO:
Queen size bed with two unique vintage side tables and partition for privacy.
BATH:
Full bath with luxe walk-in shower, toilet, vanity and large sink basin.
PARK:
As always, free parking next to building.
EV CHARGING STATION:
Level 2 EV charger near by so saddle up your electric ride and fill her up.
OUTDOORS:
Although this is a private living space you can expect to share all outdoor spaces. The front of the building has dining for four, four lounge chairs, swings for two. While the backyard is completely fenced in - there is a large open spot where a gate used to be. All outdoor spaces are shared and ideal for making new friends. Chat with a stranger... stranger. Have a hog-killing' good time with someone new!
TV:
There is no TV in this room. Please read amenity’s clearly before booking. There is no TV in this room.
WIFI:
Super fast wifi speeds. Faster than a wild buckin' bronco... that's for sure! However, we do not guarantee WiFi at any of our locations due to our location and difficulty to get a tech or equipment out in a timely fashion. If power goes out we will do everything to get it back up and running in a timely fashion but should nature prevail we ask that you unplug, and replug with nature , friends and family.
AIR:
Brand new mini split ductless systems controlled by remote. One system in living and one in bedroom to keep cool during the dog days of summer and of course, better than rubbing two sticks together in the winter.
CLEAN:
Cowboys aren't afraid to get dirty but we are. We take our cleaning seriously. We follow all sanitizing and disinfecting protocols for your absolute comfort.
PETS:
We do allow pets including your horse so long as you hitch um outside. We ask that mans best friend stay crated while you're out and about but don't leave um lonesome for too long. If they bark you might disturb your neigh-bors. Outdoor spaces are shared so ‘lick and a promise’ you’ll pick up after your furry friend. There are doggy trash bags available with trash receptacle in the enclosed backyard space. Pet cleaning fee per stay is added to reservation automatically when you add pets to guest total. All pets require a pet cleaning fee no matter how clean you might think they are. Three pets max folks. Appreciate it y'all!
MGMT:
Property Mgmt team on hand during your stay. If upon arrival something seems off, please contact us immediately. Please don't wait til after you've gone to say something wasn't right... aint no good in fixing somethin' after the fact. We strive for five stars and we appreciate the opportunity to make your stay a delight, indeed!
Guest Access:
This newly renovated property was once a service/gas station that now serves as a Boutique Hotel with four separate units. Each unit is a private guest suite and all outdoor spaces are shared with other guests.
The Neighborhood:
The ole service station is just off HWY 90 as you’re coming in or leaving town. You’ll likely hear a few passing cars and a distant train.
Getting Around:
We’re just on the outskirts of town. One mile from the center of town and all the shops and nightlife.
