Secluded and private yet close to everything. Our newly renovated AIR CONDITIONED Buré offers comfort and spectacular views of Somosomo strait. Sit and enjoy the dolphins as they swim by in the morning. The Buré has a fully functional kitchen or you can enjoy the local restaurants. It has a comfortable KS bed, bathroom w/amenities including outdoor shower with a view. We are centrally located in Matei, close to the airport (250m), shops (10mi walk) and the many attractions offered on Taveuni, the Garden Island of Fiji. The gardens surrounding the Buré offer privacy and a taste of the lush vegetation growing on the island. Sit on the veranda or on the deck under the biggest mango tree and enjoy the setting sun. Early risers can also take in the colourful sunrise. You will also enjoy our beautiful pool.

Summary: What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands,beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. Helen arranged for delicious home cooked Fijian meals to be delivered to our door at half of the price of elsewhere You can walk to other cafes and supermarket. Peter bought us home baked bread, coconuts , eggs and milk. Highly recommended would come in a heartbeat. Thankyou so much.
