Positive: Lots of nice restaurants around the area. Close to the town. Close to bulbul beach. Porter/ security was nice and friendly
Negative: When we checked in we were directed to rooms across the road from the main hotel. We werent made aware of this on booking.com Rooms are basic -not particularly clean- net curtain was dirty. Watch the corners of the beds they are deadly. Restaurant and bar area under water for the whole of the stay- not their fault obviously but no courtesy notification from hotel to let us know the situation before arrival Breakfast - food was not nice and staff don’t top things up when they’ve run out. In fact the waiter stood and watched me while i tilted the juice container trying to get some out of the tap and didn’t make any effort to assist or refill. Pool- is small but nice and clean and cool. But no towels. You have to request them at reception prior to using the pool. Snack- ordered pisang goreng- bananas were not fresh and batter had been fried in old fat so tasted horrible. No sauce either. Just dry. Wife had bakwan and tofu which she said was ok but when she asked for chopped chilli she was charged extra for it. Where in Indonesia charges for chillies?????
