Positive: I have had the pleasure of visiting Mauritius on numerous occasion staying at top hotels whilst on business trips and latterly as a family in private accommodation . We have finally found a real jewel! Our stay at Serge’s Beachfront was absolutely delightful. The house has such character — a traditional Mauritian campement with a wonderful sense of history. You can feel that it’s been part of family life for generations, from the old photographs on the walls to the beautiful antique touches dotted around the place. It’s full of charm and authenticity, yet completely comfortable and relaxed. The setting is simply idyllic — right on the beach, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water just steps from the door. We spent our days swimming, reading under the grand badamier tree, and watching the most stunning sunsets. There are lovely cafés and restaurants nearby, but the place still feels peaceful and private. If you’re looking for something genuine and full of character rather than a modern resort, Serge’s Beachfront is perfect. It captures the real spirit of Mauritius — warm, timeless, and beautifully serene.
