Summary: This cabin is fantastic and Lisa is a wonderful host. I booked the place for Valentine's Day weekend so that my girlfriend and I could ski at Schweitzer. The location of the cabin is perfect -- less than a half hour from the mountain and within a 15-minute walk to downtown. We only skiied and went out for drinks in Sandpoint, but I imagine there is plenty to do in the other seasons of the year as well.I would say that the kitchen is a little understocked as far as kitchen items goes (like no tongs, which makes cooking some meals kind of difficult) but we made it work. It's also a little odd that there isn't a couch in the living room; it's just two single chairs. Those are basically the only criticisms I have about the place though. It's extremely cozy, the bed is super comfortable, loft is cute if you want to spend time up there, and most importantly (for me) it's extremely affordable compared to some other spots around Sandpoint. I will definitely stay here again next time I take a trip to Schweitzer.
