Welcome to the Ridgeview Lodge! Your mountain retreat to gather with family and friends. Located in beautiful Cold Springs, California, Ridgeview Lodge is the perfect destination for families looking for relaxation and comfort, or year-round outdoor adventure. Whatever you are looking for, Ridgeview Lodge is the perfect choice for your visit to the High Sierra vacationland.
We have been making big updates to our Lodge and now have STARLINK Internet! We also have AIR CONDITIONING and heating to ensure you are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Our GENERATOR will automatically turn on if the power goes down, which is a frequent mountain occurrence. We don't want your well earned vacation to be ruined when the power goes out!
The Ridgeview Lodge is just minutes away from some of the areas finest attractions; Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Pinecrest Lake, and Black Oak Casino. Loaded with comforts and amenities, Ridgeview Lodge is not only the finest choice in vacation rentals, it is an outstanding value.
Ridgeview Lodge is our family retreat. It is large enough for all of us to gather and spend time away from the normal busy activities. Since we often use the home, it is fully furnished. In fact, many renters have commented that they are amazed as to how well stocked we keep the house. The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and borders on National Forest land to the West, which provides considerable privacy. We have easy and rapid access to Dodge Ridge, Pinecrest Lake and the mountain streams.
***Please note that three day weekends, holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and summer rentals require three nights stay. Exceptions apply. Please contact owner regarding exceptions prior to on-line booking.

Summary: Our group is familiar with Pinecrest. Some of us either having owned a family cabin by the lake, just visited on occassion, or stayed at the Lair of the Bear. This cabin was set up perfectly for our (3) families. We had a range of ages from 3 years old to 8 years old and Adults 35+. There were plenty of games to play, dice, cards, puzzles for the kids, pool table for the adults, tv, etc. The accommodations were extremely comfortable. Every detail is very thought out and organized in the kitchen. I greatly appreciate that and as a host myself in Truckee, CA, we can always take notes from other owners about how to improve our own rentals. Our kids also brought their bikes. It was a safe area for them to ride around and even through Stanislaus National Forest as it opens up right next to the house. This is a great rental. We will be back!
