Positive: It was my first time in Siwa and staying at Tanirt Ecolodge made the trip unforgettable. The ecolodge is built in the traditional Siwan style, simple but full of character, and it feels completely in tune with the desert around it. My room was clean and comfortable, with the kind of quiet you can’t find anywhere else. Meals were homemade, fresh, and delicious. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how the staff were kind and helpful without being intrusive. Evenings under the stars, with nothing but the sound of the desert, were the highlight for me. This is the kind of place you come to if you want peace, authenticity, and a real connection to Siwa.
