Beautiful custom-crafted details include an incredible array of hand-carved stone, exotic woods, Fifteenth Century Italian marbles, stunning mosaics and hand-carved plaster frieze ceilings. Experience the lifestyle of one of Duluth's great historic figures, Joseph Cotton, corporate attorney for US Steel (1901-1908) and independent council for John D Rockefeller through 1935. Cotton enjoyed a unique relationship with US Presidents, which included being chosen by Teddy Roosevelt to give his second nominating speech at the 1904 Republic Convention in Chicago. The Terrace Suite features a four-poster massive oak King bed with a comfortable pillow top, gas fireplace, and a spacious whirlpool for two in your Italian-tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. And during the summer your own private outdoor garden terrace.
