Summary: I needed to getaway to recharge my batteries and the cottage was lovely place to do so. My only issue was with the labeling of the key fobs - they all said the same thing and didn’t all have the same keys on so when going out I grabbed a fob and before you can even check to see if you have the right keys the door is locks behind you. It was quite a shock to find that the key did not open the door and was for the front door and not the back door. I was then charged fifty pounds for someone to come out. Label the key fobs accordingly and this type of issue would not come up. Apart from that it was a lovely stay. You do need a car because there is not even a village shop but there are some lovely walks and beautiful scenery. The bed was really comfortable. The peacocks are lovely - they are loud but that is to be expected - still lovely! There were 21 in and around the garden one day - it was lovely to sit outside and have a cuppa.
