This is a great size for big family get-togethers as well as groups of friends. Stepping inside you have beamed ceilings and traditional oak furnishings, welcoming you with an authentic country feel.
The spacious living room boasts the most incredible views with four sofas around the wood-burning stove. There is also a games room, with a selection of board games as well as a games console. In the open-plan kitchen and dining room, there is a huge dining table where you can all enjoy home-cooked meals together. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, a double as well as a twin, both with en-suite shower rooms. Plus, a family bathroom. Ampleforth boasts a great shop and tea room open in the summer, as well as orchards and a cider mill. Nearby Hutton-le-Hole, a picturesque village, offers a fantastic day out and even has its home-made chocolate shop. You are only a 30-minute drive from the heritage coast, with Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hood Bay, and Staithes all within easy reach. This is a delightful destination all year round, whether your walks will be laced with blue bluebells in the spring, vivid purple heather in the summer, or glistening frost and deep virgin snow in the winter.
