Positive: Everything, but here are some specifics: 1) the host is amazing, with incredible energy and warmth; 2) the food was amazing; 3) the sea view room and entire property was excellent; 4) attention to detail - everything smelled clean and fresh; 5) the pool - perfect place to regroup and relax; 6) the music - played in the common area and so nice to hear; 7) the laughter and smiles from everyone. Easy to get to. A mere 5 minutes off main road and no 4x4 needed. Just drive slow like most typical roads in area. A very short walk to the beach which is so clean. There is a small general store with basics. When we were there (mid Oct), thr restaurants nearby were closed BUT suggest eating at the Villa regardless. Sonia is a trained chef and you can tell. Very reasonable prices and she thinks of everything. Highly recommend this place and I hope to come back again.
Negative: That we had to leave. What an incredible place to be and regain some energy for the remainder of our trip. Wish I spoke more French because I would have liked to have more fulsome conversations. Next time hopefully!
