A private home such as ours, in an area with wide open spaces to hike and explore in is a great way to vacation and diminish the likelihood of exposure to illness of any kind. With a kid's dream play structure, teenager/adult hang out with foosball + $ more features: pool/ping pong table, air hockey, and arcade basket ball in the garage everyone will be happy! The covered patio will keep you shaded while you BBQ on the gas grill, and feel free to bring some firewood for the fire pit and roast a few marshmallows after dark. It's a great place to relax after a hard day of play.

The city pool in Hurricane opens May 15th and stays open through Labor Day weekend. It is a very nice outdoor pool with a snack bar.
Southern Utah is a bike lovers paradise! Bike out of the driveway, or take a quick drive to Gooseberry, JEM, or any of the other trails that are nearby (15 minutes from our home). The views from these world class bike trails are stunning and the weather is amazing, especially in the spring and fall, making it especially enjoyable for all day rides. Over the Edge bike shop is really close to our house, so you can get riding tips or trail advice or get things fixed quickly and easily by knowledgeable experts of this area.
There are some parades that come through town that are fun: July 4th, July 24th, and then Peach Days over labor day weekend. Each of these celebrations includes a festive local parade. They don't last long. People just set their chairs on the front lawn, and the parade goes by.
These great settings are perfect for a picturesque hike and a picnic! Make sure to check out the local ATV trails. LaVerkin is ideally situated between the little town of Panguitch and St. George. Get ready for an abundance of great scenery and a truly unforgettable retreat!
