Welcome to our beautiful one-bedroom studio located in the peaceful and stylish Dimond/Laurel district. Our studio features a private entrance, a kitchenette, and a private yard for you to enjoy. The studio is on the first level of a two-story building, and it is not a shared space. The unit has locked doors that separate it from other spaces, giving you complete privacy during your stay.
The studio is equipped with a comfortable queen-sized bed and a sofa bed (futon), which we can provide extra bedding for upon request. There is also a desk, chair, and sofa, along with fast Wifi, making it an ideal work-from-home (WFH) spot or for travelers looking for a cozy place to stay. The unit is a newer construction and is kept clean and sanitized between each guest, and we provide hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies in the space.
Our location is excellent for those looking to explore the Bay Area, with easy access to public transportation such as BART and AC Transit. San Francisco is a short 20-minute drive away (depending on traffic), Berkeley is about 15 minutes away (traffic dependent), and Oakland Downtown and Oracle Arena are about 10 minutes away. You can also walk to various restaurants, healthy grocery stores, and a laundromat.
The studio offers scenic views of the courtyard and garden, and the bathroom features a bathtub, hair dryer, and cleaning products. Other amenities include room-darkening shades, an iron, clothing storage, and a 42"HDTV. For your safety, we have installed security cameras on the property, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide alarms.
There is free street parking available, and the home is a single level with no stairs, making it easily accessible for all guests. We allow long-term stays for 28 days or more, and you can self check-in with our smart lock.
Please note that there is a separate unit upstairs, and while we require all guests to keep the noise level to a minimum, you may hear some noise from time to time.

Getting Around:
Here are the different options for getting around during your stay:
BY CAR:
Downtown San Francisco is about 13 miles, or 20 minutes away with light traffic. The house is located near the I-580 and CA-13 freeways for easy access to the East Bay and greater Bay Area.
You can also drive to Fruitvale Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station in about 7 minutes, park there ($2 or $5/day), and take a BART train.
BY TRANSIT:
Within 1-3 blocks from the house there are bus stops serving AC transit lines (14, 54, 57, 654, 655, 657, 680, 805) around Oakland and to BART stations as well as an express line to and from San Francisco (NX/NX2). Additional local and express bus lines (58L, NL, and NX3) stop within 5 blocks.
The quickest route to downtown SF is to take the NX3 express bus non-stop (about 40 minutes) this is available in the early mornings and evenings. At other times you can take the NL bus direct to downtown SF.
You can take either the 14 or 54 bus to Fruitvale Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station. BART runs about every 10-20 minutes. From Fruitvale BART, the train ride is 17 minutes to the first San Francisco stop (the entire trip will take 45-54 minutes).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
BART stops running at midnight, so plan accordingly to avoid missing the last train.
If you plan to stay out late in San Francisco, taking a cab/Uber/Lyft is a good option that previous guests at our home have utilized.
