Located within a 900-acre game preserve and nestled in the basin of the Mt. Sneffels Wilderness offering pristine surroundings and countless one-of-a-kind views. Just 8 miles from the town of Tellurides dining, shopping, with lift access to Telluride’s world class skiing. This estate and its surrounding grounds offer 16 miles of hiking trails out the backdoor, and numerous other out the door activities.
Rich woods, indigenous stone and warm upholstery foster feelings of tranquility for guests as they unwind in serenity, after taking advantage of the adventures this estate and its location offers. From the inviting fire pit, to the outrageous views of the infamous Mt. Wilson range and the surrounding concentration of 14000’ peaks this estate and surroundings offer an exceptional experience. Grab a drink from the wine bar attached to the chef’s kitchen that spares no expense with three sinks, state of the art appliances, Miele Coffee Built-in, trash compactor and warming drawer. The additional exterior kitchen offers a wood burning oven, large gas grill and Evo Affinity Grill with plenty of outdoor seating to dine alfresco in style.
The contemporary flare, rolls into the five bedrooms, 6.5 baths which can accommodate up to 10 friends or family members. Walk across the private bridge to the East Pod to the main master bedroom which basks in the natural sunlight with panoramic views of the majestic San Juan Mountains and trout pond underway. If you need some privacy or darkness just flip a switch and the shades will automatically close to provide you ultimate privacy. The master area provides a separate private office above the room with stellar views along with a privacy nook to catch up on work or just dive into a good book.
There’s a separate guest suite on the North Pod composed of a king bedroom and ensuite bath with and a super cool bunkroom and ensuite bath along with a shared comfortable living space with a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, and sink. The guest suite also has its own washer and dryer for your convenience, perfect for the in laws or honeymoon suite.
The West Pod also offers two additional private master king bedrooms with ensuite bedrooms. The far west bedroom the “Birds Nest” has a chair swing to enjoy the birds eye view of the natural outdoors and surroundings.
Jack Snow of RKD Architects designed the PaGomo estate; which mixes mountain modern architecture with environmentally conscious attributes and unique contemporary styles and crafting. The stone components of the property were harvested from the 70-acre lot and provide an indigenous atmosphere, with cutting edge design and use of materials.
The Great Room is vast with vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and a wood burning fireplace that embellishes a warm ambiance throughout the entire space. The pass-through fireplace shares a private nook with large flatscreen TV and comfy chairs for viewing and reading. Embrace the fresh mountain air by opening the sliding glass pocket doors to combine the living area with the exterior patio, outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining, pond, and fire pit.
The lowest level of the home offers a game room with pool table and theatre. The adjacent gym is well equipped with a steam shower and sauna, with an outdoor shower and easy access to the in ground hot tub with unforgettable views.
Parking is available in the garage and throughout the circular driveway. Four-wheel drive vehicles are required.
Winter offers the slopes of Telluride Ski Resort, along with an abundance of trails that lend to Nordic skiing, snow shoeing, snow biking and ski touring for the adventurous. Summers offer Telluride Golf Course and endless activities unique to the magical San Juan Mountains and the Telluride region.
